‘Take your job and shove it’ was the title of a research paper done in a major annual survey in Australia in 2006 . This is what it said...

Most Australians want to change their jobs.

77% of the nations workers intend to get a new job in 2006, with almost a quarter planning to make the move by March, a survey has found.

Only a third of those aiming to leave would consider a counter offer from their employer.

And job dissatisfaction is rife at the top with 87 per cent of executives, indicating that they want a job change this year and more than half (52 percent) adamant that they would not consider a counter offer according to a survey of 1200 people.

This compared with just 12% of executives who indicated that they wanted to change jobs in the 2004 survey.

Of the nation’s workers, as the most disgruntled demographic, was 45 to 54 year olds with 79% indicating that they would be on the move in 2006

Job changes this year will be sought most by legal, government and sales employees- 80% plan to find greener career pastures.

Of all sectors, the prime motivator for changing jobs was career progression (32 percent) and wanting a new work culture (14 percent)..." 

So why did I include this here in this website... because I want you to think about the effort you go to to earn $$$. Work should not be work. Work is an outdated word that has a negative meaning to most people

My challenge to you is...

• Why be part of this group?
• Who said work had to be work?
• Isn’t life about living?...now.
• Why should you be stuck in this rut of a job you hate?
• Why would you want to be in a life you hate?

I truly believe that what you do should be an extension of your passions and dreams.

I say “never work again for the rest of your life!”

I didn’t say not to earn money. What I meant was to find out what you do for fun, what makes you laugh and enjoy the world. Why not make that how you earn your money.

How can you say having fun is working? Do what you love and love what you do.

It's not impossible - I do, as a number of other people I know do, so why not make it your turn!
